The aim of the Nancy Oldfield Trust is to provide the opportunity for people who are disabled or disadvantaged to enjoy a day out on the water, try new activities, improve their self confidence and increase their environmental awareness.
Anyone who is disadvantaged, or has a disability; physical or emotional, temporary or permanent, regardless of their age can enjoy sailing, canoeing, fishing, bird watching and motor boat cruises. You are very welcome to bring family members and carers with you!
We are the only facility of our kind in East Anglia, providing a wide range of accessible boating activities and opportunities for our visitors.
We operate motorboat cruises, sailing and canoeing Monday to Friday, morning and afternoon. We can arrange weekend and evening cruises and sailing with sufficient notice. We can be more flexible in timings at weekends, so bring a picnic and enjoy a day out!
At the Nancy Oldfield Trust we take everyone’s safety very seriously. As a Royal Yachting Association Recognised Training Centre we operate to RYA standards and are inspected annually by the RYA. We are also inspected biennially by Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.
Stay in our Bungalow - Stay for a few days, a weekend or a week, in our self-catering, fully accessible bungalow. It is fully wheelchair accessible throughout and includes; 10 single beds in four bedrooms all with en suite wet rooms, a large sitting room with TV/DVD player, fully equipped kitchen, with height-adjustable sink and hob for wheelchair users and a dining room.
As Enable My Trip is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation we rely solely on donations and fund raising to keep our services truly free for users and providers. We are not a travel agent or trip organiser; You will need to contact the provider(s) directly to make reservations.
