At Enable, we focus on what disabled people can do rather than what they can’t. We promote a positive message about all aspects of disability – long-term illness, mobility problems, learning disability, disfigurement and everything in between.
We’re a little bit different from other disability publications – our focus is people, not products, making Enable a relatable, inspirational read for anyone whose life is touched by disability.
Enable magazine launched in May 2011 by Glasgow-based magazine publishers DC Publishing, receiving a great response from advertisers and readers alike.
Publishing every other month, Enable gives you a fresh take on the latest news headlines, big name interviews, fascinating features and top opinion pieces from highly-regarded writers.
We cover politics, the arts, employment, education and real life stories too – anything and everything which speaks to disabled people and those who care for them in the UK today.
From interviews with Katie Piper and Formula 1 Champion, Sir Jackie Stewart to our fantastic columnists, we have something for everyone in Enable. Check out our Editor’s Picks to get a taste of what we have to offer.
From our advertising sales staff to editorial team, the people behind Enable have worked in disability publishing for years, ensuring that we’re bringing you the best, most informative and relevant information every other month.
