Everything about Eagle Lodge is on a large scale! From the vastness of the landscape which it commands, the panorama of mountains, beaches and seascape, to the spacious interior, which offers maximum comfort with minimal effort, you will find Eagle Lodge the perfect large holiday home for family or friends.

Arriving to the spectacular location high above Uig Sands is a pleasure worth travelling for. From the panoramic views, encompassing many Uig Hills, to the Atlantic Ocean and the Flannan Isles, famous for the mysterious disappearance of the Lighthouse Keepers on 1900 Eagle Lodge has it all. 

The lodge is very spacious, well equipped and offers luxurious spa facilities in the large hot tub and the spa bathroom with its sauna, jacuzzi and steam shower. The music system is powerful and comprehensive and there are SKY packages and cinema sound TV. Children are made most welcome and the off-road location is safe for them to play outside. Two toddler beds can be provided for those just graduating from a cot!

Uig is an area of breathtaking scenery and huge white sandy beaches which, depending on time of year, you may find yourselves the only people enjoying them. Uig also has a great community with a thriving community store, fuel station, restaurant, cafe, seafood shack and museum and is an hour drive from Stornoway ferry terminal and just over the hour from the airport. There are flights from Southend, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness, Aberdeen and other major airports. Daily ferries sail from Ullapool or Skye and car hire is readily available on the island.

• 'Reef bedroom' Super-king/twin bedroom with en suite wet room with heated towel rail, shower, toilet and wash hand basin
• 'Suaineabhal Room' Super-king/twin bedroom with en suite wet room, heated towel rail, shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Patio doors to deck and a view to the beach.
• Double door cupboard in inner hall with plenty of space for coats and shoes etc.
• WC with toilet and wash hand basin off inner hall
• Magnificent social space encompassing lounge, dining room (seats 10) and additional 'quiet' lounge off to the side with large Harris Tweed sofa and rotating tweed chair (can be closed off or open to main room). This room commands what is arguably the best view of Uig sands and mountains in the area. It is truly magnificent. To the west is the Atlantic and the Flannan Isles. Doors open to the massive front deck where the hot tub is situated, the gas barbecue and picnic table and chairs.

UPPER FLOOR - Family Suite

• 'Flannan Room' Master bedroom with super-king/twin bedroom - this room is very large and could accommodate toddler beds as well.
• 'The Lighthouse Room' - this room is ideally for 2 children or teenagers. The beds are full size but due to sloping ceilings additional furniture cannot be accommodated other than bedside tables and drawers. Adults can use the room but will not have wardrobe and dressing table.
