Buckden, England, BD23 5JU
The 'Ghyll’ cottage provides disabled accessibility.
Whether rambling the vast network of footpaths, cycling or touring the country highways and byways, or riding down Wharfedale on the bus to Kettlewell and Grassington, or even beyond to Skipton, with its street markets and mediaeval castle; the cottages are ideally situated to explore this beautiful part of the world.
The Ghyll stands in its own walled garden at the foot of Buckden Ghyll and below Buckden Pike. We designed the cottages to the highest standards, whilst at the same time trying to make life easier for those with restricted mobility.
To assist those Guests who have mobility issues, certain Aids are available upon request:
The 'Dalegarth' sleeps up to 4 guests, and is not suited to wheelchair users. On the ground floor: a house bathroom, with sauna room; and a twin-bedded room, from which a door leads out onto a patio, giving direct access to the secluded, south-facing rear garden.
On the first floor: the master bedroom, with an en suite toilet, shower, and wash basin. The spacious south-facing lounge has a dining suite, three piece suite and additional fully sprung double divan sofa bed.
