The Angel Inn is of Tudor origin. Like a number of other Pershore buildings, it is likely to have been constructed using old ship timbers brought downriver by boat from the breaker’s yard in Worcester. These timbers are still in evidence, particularly in the bar and restaurant. It has been claimed that salt has been seen oozing from the beams in the lounge. Refined, welcoming, and full of character with consistent dedication to good food, friendly service, and comfort. The Angel offers one accessible king room with a roll-in shower.
