Stichting on Wheels has been working since 1997 for children, adults and elderly people with (severe) disabilities, such as Duchenne disease. We would like to offer these children and their parents, as well as adults or elderly people, the unfettered holiday feeling or a carefree day out! We make this possible by renting adapted means of transport and camping, chalets and organising fun activities.

My name is Josephine Rees (1993). I’m Dutch-British and was raised internationally in Tokyo and Moscow. I recently completed my MSc in Social Policy & Public Health and live in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. I was confronted with the value of mobility after losing it in an instant.
