Stichting on Wheels has been working since 1997 for children, adults and elderly people with (severe) disabilities, such as Duchenne disease. We would like to offer these children and their parents, as well as adults or elderly people, the unfettered holiday feeling or a carefree day out! We make this possible by renting adapted means of transport and camping, chalets and organising fun activities.

There are more than 50 Zonnebloem cars for rent throughout the Netherlands. The Zonnebloem cars are rental cars that can accommodate a wheelchair or mobility scooter in the back. The controls of the car have not been modified. There are seats for three to five people, depending on the type of car and equipment. That makes the car ideal for going out with family or friends.
